Alfa Romeo today announced pricing for the 2017 Giulia lineup.

The car, which goes on sale in January, will be offered in three models. The base model will be priced at $38,990, including destination. Standard equipment will include leather upholstery, 10-way power front seats with 4-way lumbar adjustment, bi-xenon headlamps, LED daytime running lights, LED taillamps, dual exhaust, bright window trim surrounds, a rearview camera, rear park assist, a remote proximity sensor with push-button starting, remote starting, and a 7-inch color TFT instrument cluster display. An available Sport Exterior package will run $1,250 and add unique front and rear fascias, 18-inch aluminum sport wheels, gloss black window trim surrounds, and colored brake calipers.

The next step up is the Ti model, which starts at $40,990. To the base equipment it adds 18-inch wheels, wood interior accents, an 8.8-inch center screen, satellite radio, a heated steering wheel, and heated front seats.

The Ti will also be available with Sport and Lusso packages, each for $2,250. The Sport package adds unique front and rear sport fascias; 19-inch dark five-hole aluminum wheels; gloss black window trim surrounds; colored brake calipers; 14-way front power sport leather seats with 4-way lumbar adjustment, power side bolsters, and manual thigh extenders; a sport leather-wrapped steering wheel; and aluminum paddle shifters. The Lusso package includes Pieno Fiore Italian leather seats, 12-way power front seats with 4-way lumbar adjustment, leather-wrapped dash and upper door trim with accent stitching, wood trim in dark grey oak or light walnut, and a "luxury" steering wheel. Also available will be a Ti Performance package with an adaptive performance suspension, a mechanical limited-slip differential, and the aluminum paddle shifters.

The base and Ti models will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine making 280 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque. The lone transmission is an 8-speed automatic and Alfa Romeo says 0 to 60 mph arrives in 5.1 seconds and the top speed is 149 mph. Both the base and Ti will be offered will all-wheel drive for an additional $2,000.

The high-performance Quadrifoglio model is priced at $73,595. It features a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V-6 spinning out 505 horsepower. Alfa Romeo quotes a 0-60 mph time of 3.8 seconds, and, as we've seen, the Quadrifoglio put up a record-setting 7:32 Nürburgring lap time, the fastest ever by a four-door production sedan.

The Quadrifoglio features carbon fiber for the hood, roof, rear spoiler, side sill inserts, and active aero front splitter. It also gets an adjustable performance suspension, 19-inch aluminum wheels, Brembo brakes, and a Race mode for the DNA Pro system. Inside, it has 14-way leather front sport seats with 4-way lumbar adjustment, a leather-wrapped dash and doors with accent stitching, and carbon fiber trim.
