Vaughn Gittin, Jr. has a serious amount of control over his Ford Mustang RTR. That RTR stands for Ready to Rock, and that's what Gittin gets to doing. In this video, he's brought the Mustang out to Barcelona, Spain's famed Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and he wants to do what he does best. That means clearing the track and laying waste to a whole lot of rubber.

The video is called "Forever Drift" and it shows Gitten obliterating a number of turns at the Formula 1 track. He pairs quite a bit of speed with a ton of opposite lock. This results in glorious noise and a cloud of tire smoke.

Gittin, Jr.'s car is a Mustang RTR Spec 5-D. It weighs in at just 2,800 pounds and it's motivated to destroy those rear tires by a 900-horsepower engine. The mill is a 436 cubic-inch Ford Performance Roush-Yates V-8 that has a set of individual throttle bodies mounted on top. It can blast through a quarter mile in just nine seconds.

Or, it can get sideways and lay long bits of black striping across a beautiful racetrack.
