When you're rock and roll royalty, you get your chance to pick and choose what sort of vehicles wind up in your garage.

Some go for luxury while others choose hyper speed. Decades ago there was a choice that landed you otherworldly styling and performance: the Lamborghini Miura.

Rod Stewart understood this, which is why he purchased a new 1971 Miura P400 S. That car once owned by Sir Stewart is now heading to auction.

The brilliant blue Italian exotic is part of a 60 car auction run by Coys, the Classic and Sport Car Show, which is set to go down in London on October 29th. There's a long list of lovely machines set to cross the block, and Stewart's Miura is certainly one of the star cars. The musician purchased the car new, when it was around $20,000, and now it's estimated that it will fetch around $1,000,000.

Other cars bound for the auction include a 1953 Jaguar XK120, a 1974 Ferrari 246 GTE, and a 1964 Aston Martin DB5. This is more than just an auction, however, as there's also a massive car show set to take place. The vehicles themselves will be used in a parade so folks cannot just see them but hear them as well.
