Some view a vehicle as an extension of ones self, or another form to express yourself. This is why the aftermarket exists, and how custom car boutiques survive. You've burned your retinas before courtesy of Mansory—and now you get the displeasure of that burning sensation thanks to a new player, Scaldarsi Motors.

The vehicle you see above started its life as a perfectly good Mercedes-Maybach S600. Then Scaldarsi Motors turned it into what is called the Emperor I. Naturally, it's part of a a soon-to-be-collection (of likely) hideous vehicles, ranging all the way to the Emperor V.

These other vehicles that are still coming? They'll be based upon the Mercedes-AMG S65, Mercedes-AMG G65, Bentley Bentayga, and of course, the Bugatti Chiron.

The Emperor I is first, and as you can see, it's far from pretty or timeless. The paint colors can be individually chosen to accompany the 24-karat rode gold accents, and of course, there's a body kit.

The rear and sides aren't completely awful, though let's not call them good. But, it's the front that truly makes one wonder why you would do such a thing to such an elegant vehicle. Of course, there are custom forged wheels. While Scaldarsi doesn't mention the actual size of the wheels, they appear to be ridiculous, and possibly 24-inches.

Inside it's a Maybach S600, but you can choose nearly any materials you want. All surfaces are covered in leather and wood, allowing you to let your imagination run wild, but please don't.

If you are brave enough to purchase an Emperor I you can opt to accessorize, from custom-engraved champagne glasses to totes, Rolex watch, and even a custom key fob.

Not that Maybach S600 was underpowered, but Scaldarsi turned to Brabus to boost the twin-turbo 6.3-liter V-12 engine to 888 horsepower. All this ugly will supposedly hit 60 mph from a standstill in 3.7 seconds.

The price for this creation? An insane $1.5 million. Thankfully only 10 examples are being made, so your odds of seeing one in the flesh are very slim.

Special thanks to Autoblog for bringing this hideous thing to our attention and ruining our eyesight just before the weekend.
