Koenigsegg only built seven of its 1,341-horsepower One:1 hypercar, and on Monday one of them was totaled. The car succumbed to the Nürburgring, where Koenigsegg was using it in preparation for an assault on the notorious German race track’s lap record. Fortunately for its owner, Koenigsegg is confident the car can be rebuilt.

Lamborghini has started work on an update for its Aventador. The car has already exceeded the sales of its predecessor, the Murciélago, by a significant margin, and with the updates made the sales should remain strong until a successor is launched.

Mercedes-Benz on Monday unveiled an almost fully autonomous bus concept. The bus was demonstrated in Amsterdam where it handled a 12-mile trek, including making sharp turns, crossing intersections and traveling through tunnels, without any driver involvement.
