Acura has confirmed it will field an all-electric version of its NSX supercar in this year’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The special NSX features a prototype drivetrain known as Electric Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive, which consists of four electric motors with individual wheel torque vectoring.

Kia is working on a new sports sedan with rear-wheel drive and twin-turbocharged V-6 power. The car is based on Kia’s GT concept of 2011 and is thought to be called a Stinger in its production form.

A mad mechanic in Australia has created a V-12 engine using a pair of LS1 V-8s. The V-12 delivers over 700 horsepower and is destined for a Camaro here in the States.
