Mini has unveiled its second-generation Countryman. The new compact SUV makes its world debut in November at the 2016 Los Angeles auto show and will be on sale by the spring of 2017. The big news is that a plug-in hybrid joins the ranks.

Another car debuting in L.A. is the new Mercedes-AMG E63. It’s set to debut in both standard and more potent “S” flavors. The car comes once more with all-wheel drive but this time there’s a special mode that turns it into a rear-wheel-drive beast.

Mercedes-Benz has previewed its upcoming pickup truck with a concept. Along with the reveal of the concept, the automaker confirmed that the pickup will be called an X-Class.
