We’re still coming to grips with the results of the Hyper 5 comparo that saw the current trio of hybrid supercars thrown in together with a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport and Pagani Huayra to see which was the fastest. Now, Chris Harris has released his own, 52-minute long video comparing the Ferrari [NYSE:RACE] LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder.

He’s at a race track in Portimao, Portugal, and joining him is fellow journo Tiff Needell as well as racing driver Marino Franchitti. This is the same track and set of cars that Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May used, we’re assuming, for the first episode of their new show produced by Amazon.

It should be noted that unlike the Hyper 5 comparison, which used privately-owned cars, this one used cars supplied by the respective factories. The tires, however, were supplied by Harris, and we’re glad to see that they’re generally evenly matched.

We won’t tell you the results but the times are incredibly close, which is all the more impressive when you consider how different each of the cars is.

Now it’s time to grab a drink, sit back and enjoy this spectacular video.
