Like the famous gated shifter, Ferrari's naturally aspirated V-8s are now a thing of the past. But with 660 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque on tap, we can't imagine drivers will resent the snails on Maranello's new 488 Spider all that much.

Cadillac's first CTS-V arrived on the scene with all the subtly of Hell's Angels partying in a Bierpalast. The 2016 model packs a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 borrowed from the Corvette Z06, and goes 200 mph. Germany, were you saying something?

Leave it the Japanese to build a little British roadster that doesn't leak oil. The 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata is actually lighter than the previous generation, and it's prettier to boot. But we can't help thinking about the higher-power Italian cousin on the way...

The first-generation Porsche Panamera should have been a shooting brake. The best thing about its interior? You can't see the exterior. So has Stuttgart remedied all the aesthetic issues with the 2017 model? Unclear. But we see improvement.

Horsepower from McLaren 675LT's twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-8 comes in at a demonic 666, and new aero bits mean 40 percent more downforce. If you had your heart set on parking one in your garage, too bad. All 500 of these wicked track toys are taken.

The prospect of a mid-engine Corvette is one of the industry's longest running rumors, and this 1960 CERV 1 Concept  helped start the chatter. The one-off designed by Father of the Corvette Zora Arkus Duntov is headed to Pebble Beach this month.

This 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing is one of only 29 aluminum-bodied versions, and it sports a more powerful "Sonderteile" engine. At the Pebble Beach auction, those factors just might make up for the fact it's not wearing its original paint.
