This week we got our first video look at the new Batmobile for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Shelby offers test drives of its super-muscle cars for potential buyers, and the 2016 BMW 7-Series shares some of its tech secrets. It’s The Week In Reverse at Motor Authority.

The first official video footage of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Batmobile is here, and while the footage is understated, the vehicle itself couldn’t be less so. We’re in for a wild ride with the next installment.

Have you ever wondered what acceleration to, say, 185 mph is like in the 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06? Wonder no more, as you can ride along and watch as it happens. It’s worth paying attention to the gas gauge as well as the speedometer.

So you think you might want to buy a new Shelby, or have your precious Mustang converted to Shelby spec, but you aren’t quite sure? You’re in luck, as Shelby is launching a new test drive experience on May 9 at Spring Mountain near Las Vegas. You’ll not only get to test drive the cars, you’ll get hands-on instruction from two of Shelby’s factory drivers.

The fifth U.S. season of Nissan’s Playstation GT Academy is starting soon, which means it’s time to fire up those consoles and start gaming. The payoff, after all, is a real seat in a professional race, and who hasn’t dreamed of that?

Finally, the 2016 BMW 7-Series is showing off some of its technological advancements ahead of its official unveiling this summer. Among them is a largely carbon fiber structure, a major step forward for a relatively high-production-volume sedan, as opposed to a very limited-volume supercar. But that’s not all the 7-Series is up to, and we have the full details.

You’ll find stories like these and much more each week at Motor Authority, so be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
