A prototype for BMW’s rival to the Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz CLA has been spotted undergoing high-speed testing at Germany’s Nürburgring. The new car will be badged a 1-Series, and we should see it launched on the market late next year.
Coming to the market much sooner than the new 1-Series is Kia’s next-generation Optima. The new mid-sizer has just been confirmed for next month’s 2015 New York Auto Show, and some teaser sketches released today reveal a very striking design for the car.
Japan’s reputable Nikkei news daily has just reported that Honda will start selling its global Civic hatch in the U.S. from mid-2016. That means there’s a good chance we’ll see the car’s high-performance flagship, the Civic Type R, here as well.
You’ll find all of these and more in today’s car news, right here at Motor Authority.
