With 739 real American horsepower and all four wheels driving the 110-pounds-lighter chassis forward, the new Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SuperVeloce (SV) can warp spacetime just enough to hit 62 mph in 2.8 seconds.
Here, it looks even faster than that.
And that’s on wet pavement.
Sounding more like a video game rendering of a beast-mode 6.5-liter V-12 than the real thing, the Aventador SV nevertheless proves it’s the real deal when it rapidly becomes a diminishing point on the horizon in this video from Auto Bild.
Of course, the SV is built to do more than just rocket off from a stop: its enhanced aero and lighter curb weight should result in a better-handling, faster-lapping track car.
We’ll let you know if that holds true if and when we get a chance behind the wheel.
