One of the standout cars of this week’s 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show has turned out to be the custom 2015 Ford Mustang known as the Rocket. The car was created by Galpin Auto Sports and Henrik Fisker, and features a design inspired by the 1968 Shelby GT500.

Acura has given its slow-selling ILX a major update for the 2016 model year. The latest version features a new 201-horsepower engine and a segment-leading eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Chevrolet will be unveiling its second-generation Volt at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show in January, but in L.A. this week we got a sneak peek at the car. Visually, the 2016 Volt appears to have a slightly lower nose than the current model, with a larger lower grille in the bumper and a slimmer upper grille.

You’ll find all of this and more in today’s car news right here at Motor Authority.
