Human beings are incredibly resilient. Often, we get our best lessons in that fact from the dumbest and meanest among us. This is one of those times.
A thief stole this 1965 Plymouth from a shop in Arcadia, California sometime in 2012. Then he took it for a joy ride and smashed it into a tree. At 150 mph. The damage to the car surely looks like it was a gnarly impact.
According to Hot Rod, the jerk who stole the car and crashed it survived. Inexplicably.
While that’s a good thing on the whole—it’s never fun when someone dies—we have a hard time feeling good about the guy responsible for stealing wrecking this recently-restored classic surviving to potentially do it again.
