A Human Being Survived This 150-MPH 1965 Plymouth Wreck

Human beings are incredibly resilient. Often, we get our best lessons in that fact from the dumbest and meanest among us. This is one of those times.

A thief stole this 1965 Plymouth from a shop in Arcadia, California sometime in 2012. Then he took it for a joy ride and smashed it into a tree. At 150 mph. The damage to the car surely looks like it was a gnarly impact.

According to Hot Rod, the jerk who stole the car and crashed it survived. Inexplicably.

While that’s a good thing on the whole—it’s never fun when someone dies—we have a hard time feeling good about the guy responsible for stealing wrecking this recently-restored classic surviving to potentially do it again.
