The first crash involving the all-new 2015 BMW M4 has occurred, with a 20-year-old male in Munich, Germany reportedly losing control of this white example before it ran off the road and crashed head-first into a tree.

The accident occurred yesterday near the Sendlinger-Tor-Platz, in the heart of Munich, and according to local media the driver was speeding through a corner when he lost control of the car. Fortunately, he didn’t suffer any serious injuries, although he was still taken to hospital as a precaution.

Considering the extent of the damage, the poor M4 is likely to be a write-off. The car also joins a growing list of exotic cars that have been crashed by 20-year-olds: already included is a Ferrari California and Gumpert Apollo.

The new M4, along with its M3 sibling, has only just started being delivered. At present we haven’t heard of any other examples being damaged.
