The Nürburgring-Nordschleife has become the world's development standard for sports cars and supercars, with lap times becoming banners to wave at the competition. The man behind the 2015 Nissan GT-R NISMO's Nürburgring-tuned setup, Hiroyoshi Kato, loves the 'Ring for those reasons and much more.

Hiroyoshi Kato's involvement with the GT-R goes all the way back to his first trip to the 'Ring, and the development of the R32 Nissan GT-R. Since then, he has learned much about the 'Ring and about tuning GT-Rs for not just ultimate performance, but a balance between track capability and street civility.
