BMW used this weekend’s 2014 Beijing Auto Show to preview its future styling themes and technology with the Vision Future Luxury concept. One of the first BMW models to be influenced by the concept will be the next-generation 7-Series due for a reveal sometime next year.

Lincoln also used the Chinese show to preview one of its future models: the next-generation MKX crossover. The American luxury brand has just been launched on the Chinese market, and an exciting concept reveal during the nation’s premier auto show is a great way for Lincoln to put itself on the map.

Volkswagen may launch a new version of its Golf that is even more potent than the current range-topping Golf R. The German automaker has revealed a 395-horsepower Golf concept called the R 400, and rumors are starting to circulate that the car has been confirmed for limited production.

You'll find all of this and more in today's car news headlines from around the High Gear Media network, right here at Motor Authority.
