Porsche’s CEO has confirmed that a four-cylinder boxer engine is destined for the next Boxster and Cayman sports cars. The new engine is said to be capable of delivering as much as 395 horsepower, so it may even be a candidate for the 911.

Audi recently revealed its 2016 TT but the redesigned car isn’t due in showrooms for another year. To help boost sales of the current model, Audi is offering some updates for it.

Producers of the seventh-instalment of the Fast and the Furious franchise may end up using computer-generated images for scenes that were to star Paul Walker. An image of the late actor's face would be digitally applied to body doubles standing in for him.

You'll find all of this and more in today's car news headlines from around the High Gear Media network, right here at Motor Authority.
