One thing we've learned over the last few years is that the Dubai police fleet is not one to mess with.

The United Arab Emirates might have more than their fair share of open desert roads down which the nation's wealthy residents can test their supercars, but the police are hardly ill-equipped to deal with such thrill-seekers. Dubai Police clearly has more money than they know what to do with, since World Car Fans reports they've just added a McLaren MP4-12C to their enormous fleet of sports and supercars.

In 2013 alone, we've seen the force adopt a Chevrolet Camaro SS, Lamborghini Aventador, BMW M6 Gran Coupe, Ferrari FF, BRABUS Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, Aston Martin One-77 and--wait for it--a Bugatti Veyron. We're not sure how much use cars like the 625-horsepower, 204 mph McLaren will be on the oft-clogged streets of the Emirate and its neighbors, but as a deterrent the garage full of supercars is second to none. It's not bad for promotion either, though some will wonder whether the force is really using its money wisely...

We just wonder whether Dubai Police has any jobs going...
