According to one of its dealers, Jeep’s new subcompact will be called the Jeepster. The car will be built at a plant in Italy and share its platform with a similar model from Fiat.

McLaren’s chief designer has revealed plans for a revolutionary wiper-less windscreen design. The technology was developed by the military for use on fighter jets and has many benefits for the world of production cars.

Porsche’s new 2014 Le Mans prototype has been named the 919 hybrid. Its drivetrain consists of a four-cylinder gasoline engine paired with an electric motor. The engine drives the rear wheels while the electric motor powers the front pair, thus creating a through-the-road hybrid all-wheel-drive system.
