Jeep is launching a special edition that will inspire "cold" puns worthy of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Chrysler's go-anywhere division unveiled the Wrangler Polar Edition at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show, and plans to bring it to U.S. dealers this November.

Available in both two- and four-door Unlimited body styles, the Polar Edition is yet another new take on the familiar Wrangler.

The exterior is dipped in one of three high-impact colors: Hydro Blue, Billet Silver Metallic and Bright White. That includes the body-color hardtop. Gloss Black 18-inch wheels provide a bit of contrast. Other exterior changes include a new grille, Powerdome hood, and Polar Edition decals.

On the inside, the Polar Edition features a black leather-covered steering wheel and seats, with contrasting white stitching. The gauge cluster also gets its own white trim and instruments with blue backgrounds.

The Polar Edition is based on the Wrangler Sahara, so it gets the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6, with an unchanged power output of 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. It also gets the Sahara's Command Trac NV241 two-speed transfer case, Dana 30 front and Dana 44 rear axles, and Trac-Lok rear differential.

The Wrangler Polar Edition is the latest in a string of special edition Jeeps, including the similarly-themed Liberty and Wrangler Arctic Editions as well as the Wrangler Dragon Edition, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Edition and Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition.
