As Corvette Blogger points out, the tuning company has released an image of the hood of their version of the Stingray, bearing a cutaway that exposes the intake manifold and the world "Supercharged" down the side. That makes us think ZR1-level power with the upgraded, lightweight chassis of the C7 Corvette underneath--and doubtless plenty of other upgrades.
Callaway's performance version of the Stingray will have real performance credibility, whatever form it takes, as the company's German arm is building its own GT3 racing version of the car.
The company has also penned a gorgeous shooting brake version of the C7 Corvette, a form which may well make it into the hot hands of lucky customers. Paired with the supercharging and other upgrades, the Callaway Corvette Stingray could become a serious lust item, along the lines of the Ferrari FF without the all-wheel drive and back seats--or the $300,000 price tag.
Callaway also recently announced its supercharged version of the Silverado, which claims to be the first supercharged direct-injection Gen 5 GM small block to market.
