The McLaren 12C GT Sprint isn't your typical special-edition supercar. It's been completely upgraded by McLaren GT, the company's racing arm, for full-on track-day duty.

Jaguar's Project 7 is another factory-born race-focused special, but it's a one-off design concept. Even if it's not a production car, it's a very good take on the F-Type's already brilliant lines.

Grand Theft Auto's fifth installment is on its way, and it looks great. A few new elements add to the gameplay, and the world looks more extensive than ever, meaning more space for automotive hilarity and/or awesomeness.

You'll find all of this and more in today's car news headlines from around the High Gear Media network, right here at Motor Authority.
