Now, Jaguar's global brand director, Adrian Hallmark, says the F-Type has already sold out half of the first year's production, reports Automotive News Europe (sub. req.). That works out to about 4,500-6,000 cars sold, based on an estimate of the F-Type accounting for 15-20 percent of global sales of about 60,000 vehicles.
