For all the grief we've given Tesla Motors and Elon Musk (most of it
), we still really enjoy driving the Model S sedan
Fast, quick, with abundant torque and surprisingly good dynamics for its nearly 2.5-ton curb weight, the Model S is, in our estimation, the first real car that's also electric.
But would you take your Model S to a track day? At, say, Laguna Seca? Would the presence of a supercharger at the track change your mind?
The idea was suggested recently on Twitter
by Justin Chace. Elon Musk replied quickly and simply, saying, "Good idea!"
We agree, that is a good idea Justin. What do you think? Does a track-day supercharger make sense?
