Teasers for Codemasters' GRID 2 have been trickling out for months now, but this is our first look at what the gameplay is actually like. In a word, it's stunning.

Whether you're into classic motorsports legends or the latest in modern supercars, GRID 2 has something to offer, all modeled in extensive detail--and the racing is set in a range of beautifully-rendered venues from the Red Bull Ring to the Arc de Triomphe and beyond. The gameplay is more about fun and less about hyper-realistic simulation, but sometimes, that's just what you're after.

Don't let your salivary glands run away from you, though. GRID 2 doesn't hit stores until May 28.
