While it was once a racing-only, stratospheric number, there are a lot of cars that make more than 500 horsepower these days. At the 2012 L.A. Auto Show, three more members joined the club--though we know which one we'd pick if handed a rucksack full of cash.

That one, of course, is the SLS AMG Black Series. Not that the Jaguar XFR-S and Volvo S60 Polestar aren't very interesting cars in their own right, but, hey--631 horsepower plus canards and gullwings? Sign us up.
