Augusto Farfus is a Brazilian racing driver who currently gets paid by BMW to campaign an M3 in the DTM series. While Farfus may look young, his resume includes stints in the World Touring Car Championship from 2005 - 2010, a season in the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup in 2011 and two entries into the 24 Hours of Le Mans behind the wheel of a BMW M3.

In other words, Farfus knows a thing or two about speed, which is why we’re surprised that his wife Liri asked to see what a day in the office was like for her husband. Despite assurances that he wouldn’t drive too fast, the one thing that’s clear from the video is that Liri and Augusto have radically different understandings of the word fast.

We’ve spent enough hours on the track (though admittedly, not the Nürburgring) to know that Farfus was, for the most part, holding back in testing the limits of the BMW M3 in the video. Sure, he could have avoided the curbs in a few areas, and telling his wife they’d be catching air at Flugplatz probably wasn’t the best idea, but Farfus certainly wasn't pushing the limit of the car.

Still, Liri was a better sport than some other wives we can think of, but that’s not to say there won’t be payback for this particular lap of the ‘Ring. If we were Farfus, we’d be bringing home flowers on a regular basis for the next few months.
