Ron Fellows poses with the Camaro ZL1 pace car to be auctioned

If you’re a fan of the
American Le Mans Series who also happens to be shopping for a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, we’ve got just the car you’ve been looking for. Crossing the block at Barrett-Jackson’s Las Vegas auction is this
2012 Camaro ZL1, previously used as the pace car for the Mobil 1 Grand Prix of Mosport. On hand to deliver the keys will be star driver
Ron Fellows, whose logo also graces the car.
The car is one of four produced in Imperial Blue Metallic, and it comes sporting special “Maple Leaf” striping and event graphics. The livery, designed by Ivan Novotny Design, Inc., will ensure that your Camaro ZL1 stands out in a crowd at Cars and Coffee.
The money raised from the sale will go to benefit the YMCA of Southern Nevada, so remember to bid generously since its for a good cause. We have no idea what the hammer price will be, but if other charity auctions are any indication, the car will sell well into six-figure territory. While you can buy a less expensive ZL1, there’s only one Mosport ALMS pace car.
Look for the Camaro ZL1 pace car, lot number 2002, to cross the block on Friday, September 21 at approximately 1:00 in the afternoon. For more information on Barrett-Jackson’s Las Vegas event, or to register to bid, head on over to the auction company’s website.
