We've seen the near-production Porsche 918 Spyder in several different forms, including its most recent Martini Racing livery, for months now. The official releases have all but given away what the production version of the car will look like, but in this video, we see what purports to be the real deal, dressed in simple silver rather obfuscating racing stripes.

While we can't vouch for the authenticity of the video, found via Biser3a, the car itself looks identical to the liveried versions we've already seen, with the exhaust mounted on top of the engine cover as you'd expect, but in its classic silver paint, the Spyder looks much more like a street car--and remains breathtakingly gorgeous.

With the 918's combination of beauty, power, and efficiency, it's set to show the world what "supercar" really means in the 21st century, packing a 4.6-liter V-8 engine, PDK dual-clutch transmission, hybrid drive with all-electric capability, and expected horsepower at about 770 total. All with 78 mpg gas mileage.
