Larger, prettier, and even more luxurious inside, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL Class aims to keep pushing the model's 25,000 yearly sales (as of 2011) to new heights.

The GL350 BlueTEC 4Matic model will win over those with an eye for torque and fuel efficiency, using diesel to generate 455 pound-feet of torque and likely very good fuel economy for its size--though official figures aren't out yet.

Speaking of size, the GL Class is definitely big, standing tall and offering seating for seven with a 2-3-2 layout.

Also on offer are the GL450 and GL550 models, using a 4.7-liter V-8 engine that generates 362 horsepower for the GL450 and 429 horsepower for the 550, with the addition of twin turbochargers.
