Earlier this morning GMC revealed the refreshed 2013 Acadia crossover. With a bold new grille up front, and a slightly altered rear-end, the large people mover is ready to take on the competition in an ever growing segment.

Remember the GMC Sierra All Terrain Concept? Well the new grille is almost exactly ripped from that concept. The new look incorporates LED accent lighting in the headlights and wrap-around rear glass. Hey, GM had to do something with all the left-over stock from the old Saturn Outlook.

The new Acadia Denali features integrated exhaust finishers and of course, loads of tasteful chrome. If we are being frank, and we always are, the Denali looks much cleaner this time around. With a body kit that is well integrated and doesn't look slapped on, GMC might have finally hit its stride with Acadia Denali model.

The interior has been upgraded with soft-touch materials on the doors and the dashboard. GMC's IntelliLink and HD radio are available, and a capacitive center stack is standard. The seats feature new adjustable headrests that look quite comfy, and captains chairs are still available in the second row.

GMC says the new 2013 Acadia will go on sale later this year. For more details please see our full preview right here. And for all the news from the 2012 Chicago Auto Show make sure to check out our hub.
