2013 Hyundai Elantra Coupe, Chicago Auto Show, Jan 2012
Today is a big day in the Windy City for Hyundai, as two new versions of the Elantra have been unveiled. The sporty-looking Elantra Coupe in particular is drawing eyes. These live photos show it looks as good in person as it does in the polished official shots.
The two-door version of the Elantra shares the sedan's bold front end, and similar side styling, but with a very fast and curvaceous coupe roof that tapers smoothly into a rear end with almost no deck. It's a successful interpretation of the same themes--proportions don't always translate well between sedans and coupes, but Hyundai has done its homework with the Elantra.
