Roush Performance is best known for building
very fast Mustangs, as evidenced by the
Roush Stage 3 Mustang’s third-place finish in last year’s One Lap of America. Roush also sells parts to make your Mustang go faster, just in case you can’t afford
a complete car from them.
Now Roush can help make your 2011 or 2012
Ford F-150 go faster, too, as it’s developed supercharger systems for the 5.0-liter and 6.2-liter F-150s. If you own a 3.7-liter V-6 or a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 F-150, Roush can supply you with a few go-fast parts like a cold-air intake (3.7-liter only) or exhaust system (3.5-liter only) as well.
The supercharger systems will be produced in both Roush-calibrated and “Tuner” kits, depending upon your particular needs. The Tuner kits cost a little bit less and can be set up to make more horsepower, but they don’t have the same three-year, 36,000 warranty included with the Roush-calibrated supercharger kits.
Roush’s cold-air intake systems are available for both V-8 engines and the normally aspirated 3.7-liter V-6, and should produce a modest horsepower gain. Ditto for the stainless steel, catalyst-back exhaust system, which will fit both V-8 engines and the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6.
