Due next year, most likely with a debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next March, the ‘991’ series 911 Turbo will still sport a twin-turbocharged flat-six engine driving all four wheels but should be better than ever thanks to a host of new features.
Some of these will include more active aerodynamics, seven-speed manual or latest-generation PDK dual clutch transmissions, and of course, more power and torque.
Expect output to better the 530 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque of the outgoing 911 Turbo S, perhaps even reaching as high as 550 horsepower to really give it the lead over its Nissan GT-R nemesis.

As confirmed by the video, both a coupe and convertible, or ‘cabriolet’ in Porsche-speak, will once again be launched. Look out for the car in showrooms late next summer as a 2013 model.
