When we took the wheel of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe on the Circuito Monteblanco in Spain earlier this year, we knew AMG had something special on its hands. Far more focused and capable on track, it is a true competitor to the BMW M3. The Black Series takes the car to yet another level of performance.

Adding on the Track Package pushes the envelope even further. As you can see in these live images, it's an aggressive, not-flying-under-the-radar look, but it's aimed at lap times, not freeway invulnerability.

Powered by a 6.2-liter V-8 rated at a stout 510 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque, it certainly has the motivation to get things done. A wider track inside the flared fenders provides more mechanical grip. Adding the Track Package and Aerodynamics Package upgrades the car with a rear wing and front canards, stickier Dunlop tires, and more cooling capacity for the rear differential.
