Tesla is attempting to burn up the Internet with material on its 2012 Model S sedan, and it's largely succeeding. As we've noted before, it needs to to keep interest in the brand in the interim between the Roadster's cessation and the start of Model S production. This video serves as a bridge between the two, showing both driving together for the first time.

The Model S is coming along pretty well by all appearances--the company is planning a "Beta" build ride-along event for buyers with reservations, including a tour of "select areas" of the future Fremont factory where the Model S will be built. The event is scheduled for October, and the Beta builds are claimed to be 90-percent production intent.
