2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will be on the market before we know it, and with that in mind, Chevrolet has posted a video to YouTube in which Al Oppenheiser, the car's chief engineer, gives a tour of the car, touting its highlights.

One highlight of the video is a short listen to the ZL1's dual-mode exhaust, which Chevy showed off while introducing the car at the Camaro Homecoming event in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.

Other highlights include a good look at the interior and a close-up of the car's carbon-fiber hood insert.

We've seen the ZL1 revving before, and now we get another look at the car's inside story.
