MotorAuthority Redesign On The Way: Newer, Smarter, Better

Follow Nelson

Get ready, readers, for an all-new look and feel here at MotorAuthority. We're always working to give you the best coverage in the performance and luxury car segment on the Web, and soon we'll release a complete redesign that will let our content shine even brighter.

The redesign will bring you an all-new comment system, better galleries, easier access to our fast-paced news, and more relevant related stories to help you branch out and find more on any topic.

We love the new look, and we think you will too. It's glossier, cleaner, and at the same time, easier to use. The new comment system makes it easier to engage in the conversation, reply to specific comments, and will also allow you to vote up or vote down individual comments.

The new category layout and navigation menus will make it easier--and quicker--to get at the stuff you love most, including up-to-the-minute spy shots, photo and video galleries, auto show coverage, first drive and longer-term reviews, and of course, our lightning-fast news desk.

You'll find more of what you want and less of what you don't, with easy access to social sharing tools and live updates from our Twitter stream.

This project has been huge, involving long days, nights, and weekends for our whole team as we work to ensure the highest quality, most reliable site possible. We're eager to unveil it, but we're still putting the finishing touches on it.

Once the new design is live, we'll give you a more detailed briefing on the changes and how to make the most of them.

So when will the redesign get here? Soon. Very soon.

  1. Oh no, remember what happened the last time? I remember I wrote to you guys to change the design of the site back to its original layout. Can't remember if you guys did it or I am now used to the present layout? LOL

    Bad stuff?

  2. Change can be good.
    Now just one request:
Please get rid of the advertisement hover text.
It probably chases away more readers/visitors than it allows you to keep.
Plus it can be infuriatingly annoying when one is just trying to read one of your articles!
