Ferrari 458 after crash at Ferrari Club Italia track day
Just because you own a Ferrari, that's no indication you actually know what you're doing behind the wheel. This 458 Italia owner proves that fact abundantly.
After narrowly escaping a slide into the gravel traps, the black-striped 458 in the video below comes to the same turn--this time about 20 mph hotter--and fails to escape, sliding hard into the wall. You'd think the first trip through the dirt would have been a warning.
This is the second Ferrari to bend metal at the Vallelunga Ferrari Club Italia event, following the wrecked 599 GTO we brought you yesterday. Unlike the 599, however, this Italia looks like its damage can be repaired, though we can't say as much for the owner's pride.
