For those who wish the Honda CR-Z hybrid hatchback was more like the CRX of old, Honda unleashed a surprise at the vaunted Goodwood Festival of Speed in the U.K. over the weekend.

The Honda CR-Z Mugen RR Concept is a more racetrack-ready version of the Mugen CR-Z Concept that Honda showed off earlier this year. This model has a unique body kit with a front aero bumper, front aero fenders, side spoilers, a rear aero bumper, a rear wing, and special 18-inch wheels.

Performance numbers aren't mentioned, but the previous concept had a 197-horsepower 1.5-liter supercharged four-cylinder combined with Honda's IMA (Integrated Motor Assist) hybrid system.

There's been no word on production plans, but since the previous concept was a one-off, we'd expect this one to be the same.
