Nissan Juke to attempt record two-wheeled run up Goodwood Hill

Nissan Juke to attempt record two-wheeled run up Goodwood Hill

As an electric car, the Nissan Leaf is undeniably a ground-breaker. It's not known as a record-breaker, though it's soon to attempt to become one. The goofy-looking Juke will get on the action also, perhaps lending its spirit to the whole deal.

The records? The Leaf will attempt to set the electric car record up the famous Goodwood Hill, but it will do it in reverse. Because of the Leaf's electric drive system, it can go up to 90 mph in reverse--just as fast as it can go forwards. We'll see how that goes when the driver is looking over his shoulder and steering with the rear end.

The Juke will attempt to set the record for the fastest four-wheeled vehicle on two wheels. Yep, it's going to make the run in stunt-car fashion, up on one side.

Speaking of stunts, pro stunt driver Terry Grant will be piloting both cars as he attempts to enter the ridiculous records book.
