Dodge To Revive Super Bee Label For Charger: Report

Chrysler/Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne has confirmed that one of Chrysler's upcoming products will be a "Super Bee" version of the Dodge Charger.

There are no details on what a Super Bee Charger would consist of, but the last one was basically an appearance package.

While we could see Dodge making a Super Bee appearance package available on both the R/T and SRT8 Chargers, we'd expect that the company might finagle some more performance out of the package. Perhaps a Super Bee would make more power than the R/T but less than the SRT8 and be sold in limited numbers. Such a car might also have plenty of go-fast Mopar bits.

Who knows? It's just good to see Chrysler getting back to some of its performance roots.

  1. The last Super Bee Chargers were a big success and in yellow, an unbelevably good looking machine.
With a much more agressive and attractive Charger for 2011, this should be a very appealing car for Dodge fans. I like the idea of a slightly hotter than R/T package. With all the "goodies" available in the MoPar Performance and after-market bins to make this a sure collectable someday, GO FOR IT!
