Mustang Cobra Jet On Dyno: Video

2010 Cobra Jet Mustang

Before each Ford Mustang Cobra Jet gets delivered to its new owner, it gets a test run on a dynamometer, and Ford Racing has shared some videos of the process.

For those who've forgotten, the Cobra Jet is a turn-key drag-racer produced by Ford, using plenty of Ford Racing parts. The supercharged 5.4-liter V-8 has an aluminum block and Manley H-Beam rods. There are also special wheels, upgraded brakes, and a revised rear suspension. Ford claims a standard horsepower rating of 430 ponies.

There aren't a lot of new details here, but that's OK. Think of this as pure entertainment for your Friday afternoon.
