The McLaren MP4-12C is slowly trickling its way to market, but one example has already met an unfortunate fate on Seattle streets.

The details of the wreck are sketchy, but one witness reported that the car wound up facing the wrong way on the highway and that the rear passenger wheel took its leave of the rest of the car.

There are rumors that the driver was a software engineer who was out for a test run. Whatever the case, the quarter-million dollar ride is now worth a somewhat lesser amount.
