2012 Mustang Boss 302 gets into the 11s on drag radials
So just how fast is the 2012 Mustang Boss 302? Very fast, for a production muscle car priced around $41,000. In fact, if you slap a set of drag radials on the car you can break into the 11s in the quarter mile and trap north of 117 mph.
This video shows a new owner--window sticker still apparently on the car--doing just that at a Maryland drag strip. The drag radials obviously improve forward bite over standard street tires, but the fact that a simple, low-cost modification can get you an 11-second Mustang is impressive.
