What better way to start the day than a video of a starting-grid crash? Better yet, a PIT maneuver performed right in front of the flag stand.

Lined up, waiting for the light, these United Arab Emirates Touring Cars are at the front of the grid, ready to attack the opening lap. The Honda Civic FD2 that is the camera car in this video charges forward, gets into the rear of the car just ahead, and manages to turn the other car around within feet of the start/finish line.

Unfortunately for Umair Khan, the driver of the PITing car, he manages to turns the car sideways right in front of him, forcing him to slow down to avoid a more serious accident, pushing him to the back of the field. But the video doesn't end there: Khan then stages a comeback, rocketing past much of the field over the next nine minutes.

He doesn't make it all the way back to the front of the race, but it's a good showing and a lesson in not giving up until the checkered flag waves.
