Need for Speed Shift 2 trailer

The latest installment of the classic Need for Speed franchise, Shift 2 Unleashed, is just around the corner--March 29 to be exact--and in the lead up to the game’s arrival we have a new trailer showcasing one its cool new features.

Shift 2 Unleashed will ship with a special feature called the Autolog, which essentially pits two drivers against each other using a points system. In the trailer below, we see 2010 Formula Drift Champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. taking on the Need for Speed development team representative Matt Powers in an Autolog challenge.

Even though they weren't in the same room, they still got to see each other's drift score through the Autolog. We won’t spoil it by telling you who comes out on top but it proves just how difficult and challenging the new game really is.
