We'll be hopping behind the wheel of the brand new 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG this week to ring out every last bit of performance the latest weapon from AMG can muster, but before then watch this official promo video for a taste of what to expect in our upcoming first drive report.

Performance should be scintillating given the car’s 525 horsepower output in standard trim, or 557 horsepower when equipped with the available AMG Performance package. The latter sees acceleration from 0-62 mph take place in just 4.3 seconds--not bad for a five-seater sedan returning a combined EU cycle fuel economy of 23.7 mpg.
