Aftermarket solutions for mounting iPhones, iPods, and now iPads abound, but as anyone that's used many knows, they don't all work as well as advertised. Doing it yourself can be even trickier, as this video illustrates.

But BMW has the solution for those without the stick-to-it-ive-ness to engineer something suitable from scratch, and it's certainly a whole lot more attractive than plywood, adhesive foam, and dangling hose coils.
